This type of tent features a set of poles arranged beneath a fabric roof to support and define the structure’s shape. The fabric roof is tensioned over the poles and attached to ropes and/or cables at spots around the fabric’s edge. The ropes/cables are anchored to the ground with stakes, augers or weights around the tent’s perimeter.
